Each year, the Orange City Tulip Festival reminds us of the incredible spirit of community that makes this tradition possible. From the volunteers who give their time to the supporters who share their resources, it is remarkable to see how our town comes together with commitment, hospitality, and a sense of pride. It is truly a gift to gather and celebrate our cherished Dutch heritage — honoring our history while also looking forward to our future.

at the Tulip Festival
It takes hundreds of people to keep Tulip Festival thriving each year. Tulip Festival offers dozens of volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages, as well as opportunities for artists, crafters, and food vendors to join the festivities. Communities and organizations are invited to join our parades with float entries, and marching bands are invited to compete in our daily street marching competitions.
The Volksparade is the Tulip Festival’s main event. The twice daily parade draws thousands and is filled with sound and color. We are always excited to welcome marching bands and parade entries.
ArtBurst is a two-day juried fine art fair that is free to the public and held during the annual Orange City Tulip Festival, a celebration of the Iowa community’s Dutch heritage that attracts tens of thousands of people each year.
Vending at the Tulip Festival Craft Show, you’ll have the opportunity to sell your unique, handmade items. Only handmade, original items made by crafters will be allowed in the show.
